Jiang Qionghui

Jiang Qionghui

Jiang Qionghui is a PhD student at the Martin (Szusz) Department of Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology, Bar-Ilan University. He studied archaeology in Jilin University, China, from 2011 to 2015, and history of science and technology at the University of Science and Technology of China from 2015 to 2018. His BA dissertation and MSc thesis were about weapons from the Qianzhangda Cemetery in Tengzhou, and arrow-category firearms in the Ming Dynasty after the introduction of European guns. He has been studying under Prof. Aren Maeir since December 2018 and participated in the Tell es-Safi/Gath Project. He is currently working on his typological study of the metal artefacts from Tell es-Safi/Gath. His areas of interest include typological theories, metal restoration and metal artefacts.
